Will I need a retail certificate to sell this item?

Hi,

So I’ve found an item that I want to sample selling a few of, it’s a new niche product that is made by 1 company and fairly hard to get hold of. The company that sell it are not big and do not produce any other products of note.

Being new to selling on Amazon, will I need a retail invoice or certificate for this item to sell it?

I’ve never sold on Amazon before however a friend mentioned with most things you need certificates for.

Any advise would be helpful. Thanks.
