Is Amazon too saturated or can a new seller still have success?

I tested the waters with Amazon FBA back in 2020. I barely made any money, but I learned how it works, so no regrets.

I’m looking to get back in the game, but everything just seems so saturated. Do I just pick a product and take the plunge? Or is it not worth investing thousands at this point? I’d ideally like to make at least a $5k a month profit (I don’t think that’s too greedy lol).

Any advice would be appreciated!
