Via Google translate, the full message states: “hello seller,
The goods on the pallet of this ticket are over-consigned, please check the scanned documents and photos, please confirm whether it is shipped normally or disassembled for bulk shipment, if it is shipped normally, please know that FC has the risk of rejection, and please confirm: 1 pallet = ? Box, can it be self-stacked and loose cargo when shipped in 1 pallet? If you disassemble the pallet for bulk shipment, please confirm the dismantling fee: 50CNY/CBM”
My shipping story so far:
I ordered a pallet of products that I designed from a manufacturer in China.
Shipped with Amazon Global Logistics.
A truck came to the manufacturer and picked up the goods to deliver to the port.
Now, I got the message in the title a couple days later.
Does “overconsigned” mean too heavy? Too big?
What is “FC”? edit: “Fulfillment Center”, of course.
If it’s rejected at the FC, what happens to my stuff?
Do you think I should pay to disassemble it?
edit to add: The cost to disassemble the pallet about $20 which is immaterial. My concern is losing a box or the boxes getting damaged if they’re not on the pallet.
