Per-Unit Funding Question

We’re participating in the Spring Deals for the first time but need to supply a per-unit funding. As much as I’ve tried to ask, Amazon hasn’t explained how to calculate this funding or how the funding will impact visbility and sales. It’s our first time running this campaign and I’d greatly appreciate some guidance. Retail price of products is about $90.
