Duplicated ASINS for child products

We have product ID exemption for a category we also have a brand store.

We switched over from manually putting products in to uploading spreadsheets so we can remove all the old incorrect listings past people made and add a whole bunch of new products with variants of size and color options.

Everything is great but then a lot of the child ASINS are the same even though they have different sku’s and are size and color variants. This is causing them not to show up as an available products

For the past 2-3 weeks Seller support has been no help either disconnecting or saying there is nothing wrong and that it’s normal for different sku to have same ASINS. Finally I got someone last week that listened to my problem and actually understood. She said to delete the products that have duplicate ASINS and upload again after 24 hours and to make sure my Product ID Type and Product ID is blank (previously I had the Product ID Type set to ASINS). This should allow it to put new ASINS and they should all be different this time.

I did this… Nothing changed! Even the ASINS were the same as before. I do not know what to do. I really don’t want to go through all the hassle of finding a seller support that will listen beside reading off a prompt.

What should I do!?

Note: single products and parent products have different ASINS. This problem seems to only apply to Child products
