Transparency codes fba shipments

Hi

I’m sending some fba products that are transparency enrolled(first time doing this).

I was under the impression I need to upload the transparacy code or serial number before I send the items to Amazon for FBA.

Is this not the case, and I just ship it as I normally would for FBA?
