Help: manufacturer sent a strike notice because i’m “unathorized” to resell

I resell Kryptonite bicycle locks on Amazon. I buy them from other online stores during holiday sales as an individual. Never had any relationship with Kryptonite. I didn’t even create any new Amazon listing I just sold products that already have a listing on Amazon, so I’m not even using their logo / trademark (i think? or does that also count as using?) Today I got this strike notice from Kryptonite through Amazon message. I cannot become an Authorized reseller due to the high cost & requirements. I assume that I can do whatever I want with the products I legally bought from another retailer. Does kryptonite have the right to stop me from selling? or can they only try to force every “authorized resellers” in the world to blacklist me from buying their product? submitted by /u/nathanh4903 |
