About to call my first sales rep!

Hey guys! Just looking for a little advice on maybe what to say or things to remember when talking on the phone to sales reps from new manufacturers.

Also, I heard that the goal is to adopt a manufacturers catalogue as my own. Should I be stocking what I can of their products and sort of drop-shipping the rest of their catalogue? I know that’s probably not exactly how I was meant to interpret that. Any help’s appreciated!! Thanks! Happy trails
