Amazon closing shipment plans within 90 days? What to do if it happens to me??!
Ok so recently I’ve been seeing here and on other forums people freaking out because they’re shipment has been “canceled”. I noticed this 90 day rule seems to be like a new thing so I checked my inbound shipments status on seller central to see if I was affected and sure enough, one has. So I did a little digging and here’s what I found:
According to Amazon, Starting December 2020, Shipments more than 90 days old that have not had inventory land will be automatically updated to closed status. But apparently there’s no need to worry
Because according to Amazon, they will still continue to receive inbound shipments that are marked as closed
The only thing you can’t do is ship additional units for a closed shipment. And as long as your shipment is marked as shipped you should be fine, so make sure it is!
