Best practices for LTL(not ground) Shipments

Do you have any best practices when sending LTL pallet shipments in? Amazon picks up vs sending your own carrier, etc

I am currently dealing with a floating investigation date for my shipment. I have been stuck in Receiving > Fulfillment center transfer > 7 Fulfillment centers since around June 20th. I was anxiously awaiting the Aug 15 investigation date, but I was told they couldn’t investigate until the 16th, so it was pushed to Aug 30th.

These commodities have a limited shelf life
