Dealing with intellectual property claims

As a small Alibaba reseller and clearance store items reseller, I have encountered intellectual property claims from other sellers who offer the same products. I find it perplexing that some sellers do not want others to sell their product yet they fail to restrict the item from resale. A simple checkbox during the initial posting of the item can prevent unauthorized resales.

Amazon’s resolution to this is to send an email to every product owner to seek permission before reselling their products. However, it would be more efficient if product owners took responsibility by restricting their product sales to authorized sellers.
