Gtin Exemption Approved yet still cant upload listings.

Im using the correct brand name i used to get the approval. I have the mail from Amazon that my brand name has been approved for exemption and ive seen the case log everything is okay there. But when i try to upload listings it requres an external product id and when I check the box of i dont have an product id it tells me to get an exemption and a link to apply now. Please help ive been running around in circles with this as amazon has not been a lot of help. My product is Jeans and ive selected the correct main category and sub-catogories.
