Help Creating My First Private Label Listing

Hi Folks,

I’m creating a brand of children’s products and want to create my first listing but I’m having some challenges.

In creating my listing, I am needing to get my brand approved. In order to get my brand approved I need to provide a picture of the product packaging with the branding and labeling information. I don’t currently having packaging designed because I don’t want to do this without knowing if this brand name will be approved.

What is the correct process here? Should I be creating this product as “generic” and then change to “branded” later?

Also, if the decision is to print the FNSKU on the packaging, how would I ever be able to provide this to Amazon in order to have the brand approved without first being able to have a listing created?
