how can I be sure that the product i am planning to sell is not gated or restricted

i am a new seller. there is a product i am planning to source. this product can be used by after a certain medical procedure. it is also used by normal people with no medical condition. it is not electronic or anything complicated. I already asked sellercentral giving example listings. but did not get a clear yes/no answer. is there a way to be sure about this ? here is a story posted here short while ago running into this problem after initially being approved

before paying the suppliers, is there a way to make sure i wont run into problems with this product ?
