Is there any sort of accounting ledger? Even if it is third party?
So I’m having a hard time seeing how much I get charged and where the fees are going. It’s not a huge deal to me as my margins are pretty high on my product, but I just want to be able to better see everywhere I get charged. For example,
I make a sales, I want the ledger to say(made up numbers here):
Widget sold: +50
Amazon fees: -5
FBA fees: -7
Storage fees: -3
Refund: -50
Refund fees: -4
Balance paid out: -475
And I want each line to say what my balance is after that line. Basically, every time my balance goes up or down it should be an entry in the ledger and every fee or revenue should be in there. Does anyone know how to do this?
Also, a completely unrelated question since I don’t feel like making a whole new post. Regarding the storage fees for FBA, when does Amazon actually start accruing the fees? I only ship about 10 or so boxes every shipment, and it usually takes about 2 days for them to check it in, but customers can’t actually receive products for about 2 weeks as it transfers to other centers. Does it start accruing fees as soon as they get it or as soon as they make it available for shipping to the customer?
