So here we are talking about two different models of selling on Amazon
📍Private label 📍 Whole sale
⭐In private label model you create your own listing your shop your brand if you register you TM and then apply for brand registry on Amazon. In this model your profit margin can range from 20-60 depends on how good your source that product. You can flip this listing in future for 24-36 months advance profit depends on how much you make per month e.g if your making 1000$ per month then multiple it with 24-36 months.but it take one year of stability minimum.In this model you make good money.But it is expensive too.
⭐In wholesale model you ask for the permission from the brand if you can sell the same product and if they allows you then you buy the product from them with 8-15 profit margin and strat selling on there listing.And you get into the frustrating loop of getting buybox because the buyers usually don’t even know how is selling so you fight for the buybox all the time.This model can not be flip as you don’t own the listing.
🚨If you don’t take permission from the brand and just do metoo on there listing and sell your own product then you are hijacker and they will kick you out soon.Doing metoo on someone’s listing without the brand permission is ethically wrong and risky too. So avoid doing this.
