MWS / SP-API, clarification needed, please… MWS developers: riddle me this…
As per title, I need some clarification with the situation of my Amazon Seller account (EU store), for with I seek to use MWS / SP-API.
I own two companies (two distinct legal entities): with one I sell consumable stuff through my ecommerce; with the other one I develop software. I developed my own ecomemrce, and would now like to tinker with the MWS / SP-API. Both to integrate my ecommerce with my EU store, and to add features for my other clients (which would pay their own Pro plan, ofc).
So… since I wanted anyway to start selling my consumables on my EU store, I activated a Pro plan (the ~€40/mo. one), and completed successfully the verification process for the consumable-selling legal entity.
But when I try to retrieve my API keys… I’m being asked to register and verfy myself as developer profile, too. Questions are quite specific questions… no “consumable-selling” company would never be able to answer those
Of course I could apply for another Pro plan with my other legal entity (the software house), and go though the process again. But… I really don’t want to go through all the hassle again, and pay the double costs just for trying. It really grind my gears…
I noticed that, in the developer registration form (within the seller company), they asks me again my organization. Could I fill it with the sottware company data (name, email, phone, …)?
Will a developer profile created in this way be suitable to be used withn the Stores of my other clients?
Does Amazon provide a number / chat for Pro account owners? I’d like to have some official answer.
