Prep required: Poly bagging

I am a new seller trying to create first shipment. When I am creating a shipment I see “Prep required: Poly bagging” on Step 1: Choose inventory to send. But I am packing my inventory in individual carton boxes ? Does it still apply ? How should I proceed with this ?
