Product Manufacturer shipping to FBA warehouse

Looking to get back into selling on Amazon. I use to ship out of local warehouse to customers. I want to now ship via FBA. I have identified an Industry and about a dozen products I want to sell on Amazon marketplace.

Are most sellers shipping their products from overseas mfr directly to Amazon fba warehouse or from local warehouse to fba?
