Question about FBA across the border (Canada to US)

I’m trying to send over inventory to the US from Canada so that I can start offering FBA on my US seller account as well. I’m doing research and it appears that I can send over no more than $800.00 USD per day. Does this refer to what it cost me to acquire the items in the first place? Or does it refer to the price I intend to sell these items at?
