Questions for Australian Amazon sellers

I’m really thinking about starting an amazon account up to sell books & video games & d.v.ds on since my ebay account was randomly suspended for reasons i still don’t know. I’ve been told by people you don’t sell second-hand things on Amazon, yet I’ve seen people talk about it on YouTube? I’ve also been told that in Australia it’s something people don’t use that much?
