questions regarding requesting “r3v1e//” from buyers

Apparently I can’t use the word “r3v1e//” on this thread, so I’ll do my best to ask my question within the Reddit rules.

However, now that I’m getting sales, I want to ensure I get as many “responses” as possible from customers. When I go to request one automatically , I get this message from Amazon;

“We don’t require you to request r3v1e//z because our systems already do that at no cost to you. It is against Amazon Policy to make repeat requests (per order). By using the “Request a r3v1e//” feature you agree not to send any additional requests via buyer-seller messaging.”

My questions; Why offer this feature if they explicitly state it’s not necessary? Does anyone manually request them, or do you just let amazon do it’s thing?
