Rejected from Brand Registry

Hello,

I currently have a pending application for a trademark and have applied for brand registry.

A verification code was sent to the public contact on the trademark registration and I have sent that code to Amazon as requested.

However, the application was rejected due to the following:

We are not able to determine with confidence that you satisfy both of the following criteria:

1) You are internal to the brand(s) (such as an employee of the brand(s)), as well as

2) You are responsible for selling the brand(s) on Amazon

Does anyone know what this means and what I need to do to get accepted?
