Switch listing to FBM?

I created my listing as FBA, but am going to do it FBM instead. Several sites say not to use the “convert to FBM” option in the tool and give a lengthy process instead.

What is the best way to convert a listing from FBA to FBM (I haven’t shipped anything yet).
