this is more of a vent post
so i have been a seller on both amazon and ebay for years now and i just cant express my frustration with Amazon’s style of software development (im a software engineer).
There are just too many circular issues with amazon’s seller portal website. There are too many errors on their entire amazon seller web portal as if they were programmed by interns.
There are too many convoluted steps. Stricltly from a Software development point of view – eBay’s systems are so much more robust/instant/hardly ever any errors where as Amazon’s seller portal is just garbage.
My latest FBA shipment was counted wrong, and when i go to Reconcile page it errors out.
When you go to the new support/Help section – it will not allow you to submit a help ticket, it will only allow you to go the reconcile page where the site errors out.
What a mess. You’d this with all this money Amazon is making, they would hire better technologists to properly develop their backend systems.
/….lastly WhatsUp with their new Help section – they’ve made it so difficult to contact support / even on a professional account. They literally don’t give a crap.
