Tips for Improving SEO?

Hey r/AmazonSeller,

I recently got my product (which I have been primarily selling through Shopify) listed on Amazon. The product has been up for a week on Amazon and has gotten about ~100 views across all of the different variations (5 color options).

My question is this: is there a way to improve my search ranking? Specifically for my brand name? Our product is pretty niche, and we’ve built up a bit of a brand reputation in the industry at this point but, right now, when I search my brand’s name on Amazon, I don’t even show up. This is surprising, because it’s a fairly unique name.

The most frustrating part is that MY COMPETITORS’ products show up when you search for my name.

Is there any “Amazon SEO 101” type stuff I should be doing to rank higher?
