Transparency Program

Hello, does anyone have experience with this program? I have lots of counterfeit sellers hijacking my listing and nothing can be done to stop them. I’ve heard this program is great for this issue. My only concern is the UPC code for this product was not purchased through GS1 and the UPC is required when filling the application for getting the transparency barcodes. Will this raise any red flags and cause an issue for me? Any information is appreciated!
