“Unable to verify account”. Should I open a new account with another email as Amazon recommends?
I opened a seller account at amazon.com a couple of days ago and uploaded the necessary documents. I had a video call with them to verify my passport this morning.
After a couple of hours I got a message saying the country I submitted didn’t match the documents I provided. I tried contacting them many times via email and by opening a ticket but each time I keep getting the same automated response which recommends opening another account with a different email.
I read on Amazon Sellers’ forum that some people had their account approved when they opened a new one but was later suspended because it’s forbidden to have two accounts (which is contradictory to the fact that they recommended opening a new account).
Has anyone here had the same issue and do you recommend opening a new account and going through the verification process again?
