Units on packaging box for Amazon

I’m having my graphic designer design the packaging box for my product. I’m selling in the US. Does it matter what units are in the box for weight and size?? For example, are centimeters and grams okay, or does it HAVE to be inches and pounds since it’s the US?? Thanks in advance!!
