Using a retail website that redirects customers to Amazon, good practice?
Is it common or a good idea to:
- Build a retail website with a payment system and all, and whenever I receive an order and payment from a customer I just go on amazon to my product and enter his details instead?
- Build a website as if it is a retail store, then up to the checkout point it just redirects the customer to Amazon?
The goal is to establish a website for later when things scale, but initially I think Amazon is an easy and quick way to dip my toes in the water.
