Which packaging to use for those selling as individuals?

Hello,

I appreciate that most sellers here are probably not individual sellers but I’m hoping you can answer my question.

I’m looking to set myself up as an individual seller in order to reduce the books I have at home. I tried ebay but apparently nobody goes to ebay for books.

If I sell a book on amazon, is the buyer going to expect Amazon packaging? The cardboard box thing etc.? I’ve never bought a second hand book from Amazon so I don’t know what the expectations are. Will they also want the sticky barcode and name/address label on it?

Edited to add that I am based in the UK and will only be selling within the UK.
