Will I run into issues trying to sell this product?

Hi there,

So I’ve found a niche product that is in very high demand with low stock, this product has one listing on amazon for about 3x the price and 3 weeks shipping. The company who makes this product only sell it via an affiliated website, this listing on amazon is just a 3rd party seller.

This product I can get hold of reliably at the original asking price directly from the company who makes it – now being new to amazon FBA I’m wondering if I’ll come into issues if I try to sell these on amazon through fba?

I have no doubt they’d get snatched up with much quicker shipping and a more reasonable price than the only other listing but do I need t sort of approval to sell this product first or just go for it?

If it matters I won’t be selling thousands of this product, more like in small batches due to the cost of the item.
