Advice needed for a new seller

Hi folks! I went through a bunch of posts and comments here and saw major emphasis on PPC. At what point of your selling journey do you employ PPC? How much does it cost? What are some major things to consider before using it? Do you have any tips, suggestions or advice for someone just started out?
