This is my 3rd year selling on Amazon. I’m not a seller that owns a brand, but works for different companies that sell on Amazon. So far I have successfully launched products in Healthy + Beauty, Home Improvement, Dietary Supplements, Furniture, and Grocery Gourmet.
Launched about 50 SKUs from beginning to Best Seller status. Worked closely with PPC masters and Google/Facebook SEO experts. Always found that Amazon seems to have its own type of logic slightly different when it comes to ranking certain keywords.
Learned from somewhere that there is an Amazon Perceived Ranking and a Shopper’s Perceived Ranking. Meaning in order to rank well on Amazon you have to have a good mixture of both. I found it successful to pivot my keyword ranking strategy with this concept in mind.
Anyone feel something similar working on Amazon?
