Are generic products worth listing on Amazon?

I imported some generic products for Shopify. Sales are good there, but I was wondering if it’s worth listing a generic, non-branded product on Amazon FBA. people who made a private labels of this product sell it for $15ish.

Do you think it is a necessity to private label it, to get all the brand benefit stuff, or will Amazon give a non-branded product some visibility.
