At a loss, both in the red and next steps- what should I do?

Hi! Relatively new seller on Amazon. I have a product that was inspired by my 5 year old daughter. Did my research, seemed like a good opportunity to sell on Amazon. Sourced it thru Alibaba, went thru months of testing. Finally got it in production and now it’s been at an Amazon fulfillment center since April 2022. I’ve hired multiple people to help my listing take off, pictures, EBC, etc. Probably got ripped off since I can’t get my listing to do more than 5 units a day (on a good day) but I want to keep trying! I’ve sourced people thru Upwork and I get the same response – oh I can help! It will be 5-7 hours of work and I charge $150 an hour. When I ask what for, it’s a vague answer about how they are going to get my listing to show up in searches.

What am I missing?! I don’t want to give up but my day job is funding this side hustle and I don’t see it improving. Any advice would be appreciated!!!
