Unable to Access American Market from UK Amazon Account With Sell Globally Option

Hi Amazon Sellers

We are a U.K. based Amazon seller looking to expand our reach globally with Amazon. Over the past year we have seen success with the sell globally function to create listings in European markets such as France, Italy and Germany. We now look forward to expanding to even more markets such as Americas, however at this point we are currently unable to use the sell globally function to access the American markets in the same way we access would for Europe.

When we access the sell global page, the americas tab appears with a tick next to it, just like Europe does, but when I click on “add a product” for Americas. We are immediately prompted to log back in, and United States doesn’t appear in the marketplace switcher, only united Kingdom and the European markets. Can anybody advise how we can access the American markets on this account so we can ensure our social proofed listings can be be transferred over to Amazon’s US marketplace.
