What is your ppc for items less than $10?

This is my first time to sell product online. I sold mainly cheap household items under 10 dollars. How much should I bid the Ads? My budget is limited but I dont mind to be only breakeven in the beginning few months.

Also, if I dont spend any on Ads will I still get some traffic ? Will amazon help new seller?
