Some Amazon prime movies used to be free
I have been selling on Amazon for 13 years. I hate Amazon as I think they treat sellers like crap. I also have Amazon Prime as an Amazon customer. There are some old movies on Amazon Prime that I have watched that were free to watch years ago. Now Amazon Prime charges for them. These are movies I don’t believe even made it into theaters. One example is “She Devils on Wheels”. Super low budget ‘60’s movie. I watched it years ago for free. Now Amazon wants $2.99 to watch it. We pay for the Prime membership to cover costs of these type of movies. Now they charge for them. Amazon are a bunch of money grubbing whores.

#510 – The Amazon Ads Mistake Costing Sellers Growth
Audio version above. Video version below
Are you optimizing your Amazon ads for efficiency while accidentally capping your growth? In this live episode from Prosper Show in Las Vegas, Carrie Miller sits down with Destaney Wishon to unpack one of the biggest mindset shifts sellers need to make with PPC: low ACoS does not always mean smart growth. Together, they explore what happens when sellers move from outsourcing their ads to understanding them more deeply themselves, and why that transition can feel both intimidating and empowering. The conversation also ties into Helium 10 Ads Academy’s Outsourced to Optimized series, which was designed to help sellers take more control over their advertising strategy.
The conversation digs into the real decisions that separate reactive ad management from intentional strategy. Carrie shares the fear many Amazon sellers have of losing control of spend, hurting TACoS, or making the wrong changes too quickly. Destaney explains why focusing on just one KPI can be dangerous, especially when certain high-cost keywords are still essential for organic rank, brand visibility, and long-term momentum. They also break down how tools, bid rules, keyword harvesting, and filtering can help sellers manage campaigns more confidently without spending all day managing their Amazon PPC.
Another standout takeaway is how many brands are still missing major ad opportunities hiding in plain sight. Carrie and Destaney talk about the value of Sponsored Brands, overlooked campaigns that were quietly driving revenue, and why simple creatives often outperform expensive video productions. They also show how AI tools are making ad testing faster, cheaper, and more accessible than ever. To close the episode, Shivali and Carrie share quick Prosper Show conversations with Jeffrey Anderson, Parker Swanson, and Colin Raja, offering fresh perspectives on Amazon PPC mistakes, rising competition, and the operational habits that are helping brands grow faster today.

Tracking Inbound inventory
How are you currently handling inbound inventory visibility once your product leave the factory?
Right now we’re relying on forwarder updates, spreadsheets, and a lot of manual ETA guesswork.
I’m exploring a lightweight tool that would connect POs to shipments, show what inventory is on the water / in the air, and alert you the second ETAs change.
Would something like this be useful, or is your current workflow already “good enough”? If so, what does that look like?

Featured offer 91%? What does this mean?
I’m a bit confused about how the whole featured offer thing works. I am on brand registry and should be the only seller selling my product. What caused the random featured offer % drop?
If it’s just an anomaly, how do I know for sure no one else is selling on my listing.

Never contacted after I received confirmation of my identity materials completed. Support says they can’t help?
I applied to be a new Amazon Seller 3 weeks ago and I received a confirmation that materials had been received. I had not heard anything since then and my account is still pending. I reached out to seller support to see why my application is still pending weeks later and received the following email response:
“We have received your inquiry, but we cannot provide support on this matter.
Why is this happening?
We cannot provide support on this matter because your request is not related to the verification of the seller identity or related processes”
I don’t understand? My entire support request is related to verification of my account. Has anyone else had this issue? What should I do?

Products not showing correct images? Help :(
Hi! New to selling on Amazon.
Got my brand approval, and trying to get my products worked out before going live.
I’m running into a constant issue with one of my items though. It has two different variation categories, with ten different items in total. I’m able to get everything linked just fine to the parent sku, but once it clears through they’re all showing the same images in manage inventory. How do I fix this? Or is this a case of it won’t be an issue once my product actually goes live on the website? I’m at a loss here.
