Rejected Certificate of Currency (CoC) for Beauty Category—Who are you guys using for insurance?

Hey everyone,

I’m running into a massive brick wall and need some advice on finding a new insurance provider.

I sell in the beauty/cosmetics category, and my current insurer just issued my renewal Certificate of Currency (CoC). I submitted it exactly like I have for the last few years, but it keeps getting aggressively rejected.

Nothing on the policy has changed except the dates. The Legal Entity names match perfectly, the coverage amount is fine, but the system keeps auto-rejecting it with generic “unable to verify / doesn’t meet criteria” responses. I’ve tried appealing and highlighting the exact sections, but I keep getting the runaround.

My current broker is stumped because this exact wording worked flawlessly for years, but it seems like underwriting criteria or platform bots have tightened up significantly for topical/beauty products.

For those of you successfully selling beauty/cosmetics right now:

  • Which insurance providers or brokers are you currently using that actually pass verification?
  • Are there specific clauses or exact wording your insurer had to add to the CoC to get it approved? (e.g., specific wording for online sales, product liability extensions, etc.?)

I’m looking to pivot to a new provider ASAP before my listing health or account gets penalized. Any recommendations or advice from fellow beauty sellers would be a lifesaver.

Thanks in advance!

First Shipping… (Need help)

Hi everyone!

I never thought I would start selling on Amazon, but I am.

I’m considering buying goods from China and selling them on different e-commerce sites.

I have found many suppliers offering the products I am interested in, but almost all of them refuse to accept small orders for market testing. However, almost all of them refuse to accept small orders for market testing. I eventually found two suppliers willing to accept small orders so I can test the market. They have different names and I thought they were different manufacturers.

Today, however, I noticed that their business license numbers are the same in the audited report, even though their names are different.

Since this is my first time ordering from Alibaba, I don’t know how to verify if they are legitimate manufacturers or if they are trying to deceive me.

Could you help me by recommending ways to verify the supplier before I place my order?

Any help would be much appreciated!

TIA

Locked out of my account due to invalid charge method.

I am essentially locked out of my account due to an alert that said that my charge method for the account is invalid. The card on my account is my business card and it is the same card I used to set up the account and the same card I have had on file for the year plus that I have been operating my amount. I have verified with my bank that there is no issue with the card itself and I tried to just resubmit the card but it is saying that it will take 48 hours to verify.

That wouldn’t be a problem except that I seem to be locked out of doing anything else with my account until this is resolved. My account hasn’t been put on hold and I have received orders but I’m unable to view any details or do any fulfillment until this issue is resolved. I tried to contact support but was essentially told that there was nothing that could be done until the payment info was verified.

Support kept giving me contradictory answers about what I’m supposed to do as far as my orders go in the meantime until they eventually just stopped talking to me. I’m assuming they aren’t allowed to hang up on me, but as far as what I understood from support my customers are just out of luck until they get this issue resolved. Has anyone else had this issue?

What happens to my FBA inventory and my money if I get suspended?

Im a 3rd party seller of branded products on Amazon. I get my share of inauthentic complaints. When that happens, I need to prove authenticity by sending in invoices. If I don’t do that, I can not sell that particular ASIN anymore. If Amazon refuses to accept my invoices as proof of authenticity and inauthentic complaint starts to add up and this causes Amazon to suspend my account (due to too many inauthentic complaints), will I be able to remove my other FBA inventory from Amazon warehouses? Also, if the account gets suspended for this reason, what happens to the money that is in my account at that time? Will I be able to get my money out?

FYI, I spoke with Amazon about this and they said (1) I will be able to remove other ASINS and (2) I will get my funds back after 90 days.

How to print ASIN bar code

Help wanted.

I’m trying to get my first product packed up and shipped to Amazon.

I downloaded my ASIN, but it is small on a full sized pdf sheet of paper. When I enlarge to screen grab in order to print on Avery labels, the bars blur too much to be read.

Am I missing a better file to download? I would expect it as a vector so it can be sized without degradation.

Thanks
